Marriage Prep Coaching – The Smart Start

Even if you are up to your eyeballs in wedding planning, you can take a little time to prepare for what is most important – your life together!  This is the best investment you can make.

What causes marital discord and family strife?  Financial decisions, children, in-laws, cultural or religious differences, wedding planning, pre-nups, lack of intimacy, and poor communication.  These can wreck a marriage.  But they don’t have to.

Here’s how my coaching can help prevent such stress with some conversations.  Each one is a session, and you can choose the ones you like:

Wedding Planning – We can talk about how to stay positive and keep perspective and harmony for your big day.

Finances – We can ensure you are on the same page about how these decisions will be made.  How will spending be controlled?  Will you both be earning?  If you like, we can discuss marriage contracts in a sensitive way. 

Culture & Religion – What identity do you want for yourself and your family?  Better to discuss that now than to wait until you have kids.  I can help you think through these complex issues.

Communication Skills – This is the real key.  I can offer some guidance, and you can each guide each other, on the best ways to communicate your concerns.
